

Nancy Wilson was born in Paris, Illinois in 1942, but lived her life In 5 US States, and at least 2 European Countries and Japan as an Army “brat”. She spent most of her adult life in Southern California. She initially worked as an Airline Stewardess for Lake Central Airlines until she shifted into The Savings and Loan Business. She married Edward W. Wilson, Jr. in 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was widowed in 1984 where she resided in Orange, California. After retirement, she moved to Tucson Arizona in 2017 to be near family.
Entertaining family and friends was a favorite pastime for Nancy, with side trips to her favorite places: Disneyland, sports venues, and famous watering holes in San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and San Diego California. As a member of Shepherd’s Grove Church, Formerly known as The Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, Ca., she sang in the choir and traveled with them to numerous locations including to France for a music engagement. A college basketball and history buff, Nancy traveled to battle grounds, cemeteries, libraries and homes of noted Americans and war hero’s. March Madness kept her glued to each b-ball game bracket. Nancy was also a NBA Lakers fan and an avid golfer.
Nancy is survived by her sister Catherine McColley (Husband Mac), two nephews, Patrick and KT McColley, a grandnephew Daniel McColley and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Wilson ( 2 nephews-and 2 great nephews-in-law).
A graveside service for Nancy will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery (5801 E Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712), on October 23rd, 2025 at 1:30 PM.
