Nathan Lamonte Charles

August 3, 1971 – May 29, 2020

Announcing that Nathan Lamonte Charles is Goin’ Up Yonder to be with his Lord. Nathan was Born August 3, 1971 in Tucson, Arizona. He is survived by his mother, Corrine Aldridge, siblings Rene Waggoner, Sherise (Waggoner) Daniels, Shawn Charles and Tina (Charles) Williams, his children Caelin Charles and Alexa Charles, his grandson Keanu Torres-Charles, his partner Rusty Gibson and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Antoinette Marie Waggoner and father Hester L. Charles (additional siblings: Shakina Charles, Tavarius Greene, Shurpel Charles-Lacy, Derrick Copeland).

When around Nathan L. Charles you knew of his presence, his smile would light up a room, his sense of humor, as well as his laughter would have you laughing so hard you would be in tears. He loved his son and his daughter with all his heart and cherished spending time with them. He was a very caring son and brother; he loved his family! He also loved his friends and would help anyone in need.

He took pride in receiving a license as a Massage Therapist, he loved learning about the human body and taking care of the general wellness of his clients. He loved GOLFING which led him to working with the YMCA youth camps and after school programs, recently as a GOLF instructor for the youth.

He was extremely passionate about making MUSIC and he learned to play multiple instruments, but his appeal was the piano. He prided himself in writing songs, making beats and recording MUSIC. He told his story in his MUSIC and his story is real and raw.

As the family would say “Day-Day,” Nathan would say “Lots of Love.”
