Norma Diaz de Sandy, age 83, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1941 in Sasabe, Sonora, Mexico, where she attended school and completed 6th grade. As she began her journey in life, she met and married Mario Diaz de Sandy on 11/20/1960 and started a family. She became an amazing homemaker. Norma was a member of Spanish Church of God and had a passion for making floral arrangements, being a hairdresser and loved making her annual tamales with her church and family.
She preceded in death by her husband; Mario Diaz de Sandy; parents; Francisco Rosario Suarez Orozco; sisters; Ernestina Redondo, Ofelia Coronado, Concepcion Islas, Olga Suarez, Margarita Ballesteros and Estela Villa; brothers; Francisco Suarez and Adolfo Suarez. She is survived by Norma Ibarra (Lupe), Mario Diaz de Sandy Jr. (Eva), Daniel Diaz de Sandy and Eunice Ortiz; grandchildren; Annahi Sicairos (Roman), Joshua Sicarios, Samantha Diaz de Sandy, Stephanie Amado (Marcos). Thalia Molina (Alan) and Sofia Derbyshire; great grandchildren; Amalyse Hernandez, Aryanni Sicairos, Aliyah Sicairos, Annitza Sicairos, Mason Reyna, Scarlett Amado, and Annabriella Arroyo.
She will be deeply missed.
