

Philip is survived by his spouse, Lisa Taylor, who resides in Rimrock, AZ and Winsted, CT seasonally. Amanda and grandchildren Ainsley, Alanna, Aeowynn, Archimedes and his first wife Janet mother to his daughter Amanda and grandmother to his 4 grandchildren from Tucson, AZ.
His four siblings: Sybil Jean Redmon of Lake Montezuma, AZ and her adult sons David & grandsons Cameron and Austin and son Kenneth. Linda Kaye Redmon and her husband Steve Kreigh, with her daughter Jennifer and her daughters Sadie Marie and Kirah and son Mateus: all living in Eugene, OR. Rose Mary Redmon and her two sons James and granddaughter Olivia, who live in Reno, Nevada and Bryan and his children. James Redmon "Jim" and his wife Mary, who reside in Rimrock, AZ; their son Christopher and granddaughter Elizabeth and family Dana & her Daughter Olivia, as well as Dominic, all Live in Tucson, AZ.
Philip is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Taylor and Sybil Whitt, Grandfather Carver Whitt and wife Rose of Tucson, AZ; his Uncle Cyril K. Whitt of Rimrock, AZ and Lloyd Leslie Hall, his 1/2 brother, who has living son Eric Hall. His Uncle Lloyd Whitt, affectionately called Uncle Tommy, who passed away at home, being cared for by his beloved wife Doris and daughter Cindy five days after Craig's death.
During his career, he was a well respected and dedicated employee. Tucson Opera Theater; After marrying in 1981 in Connecticut, they both moved to Oregon. Where he owned a flower stand, and later returned to Connecticut where he joined Hurley Manufacturing. He also worked as a graphic design artist for the Foothills Weekly newspaper and went on to serve as a maintenance supervisor at a nursing home and elderly housing facility in Connecticut. For many years, he operated his own business—Lightning Maintenance & Repair—in both states. Later, he worked as a contractor, flipping houses in Arizona until his retirement.
Mr. Taylor graduated with high honors with an Associates degree in Fine Arts from Northwestern Connecticut Community College in Winsted, CT. Mr. Taylor was a member to Fraternal Eagles in CT. Member in recovery attending NA and AA
Lifetime hobbies and travels:
Back in the day, he rode motorcycles. Traveling across the USA by hitchhiking and driving cars including back and forth from CT to AZ. Boating & water skiing with friends and family on Roosevelt Lake in AZ years ago. World travel with Lisa to London; Paris; Cartagena, Columbia; Athens, Greece; followed by a cruise to Greek islands like Santorini- then over to Istanbul and other historic sites in Turkey. The islands of Hawaii to honor his Father-in-law Anthony A. Angarano, who passed the year before. A reunion was held then on the USS Missouri, docked in Honolulu, where A.A.A. served in the Navy during the surrender of peace signing at end of WWII.
He also enjoyed reading mystery novels, drawing, dancing and especially Twirling Lisa. Followed the Patriots when Tom Brady was the QB and hosted Super Bowls, with betting with family for years; including last year, even when ill. Playing cards and games like Tripoli with AZ family. Flying in AZ in brother Jim’s experimental airplane his brother built. Years ago, Craig and Lisa hosted yearly potluck, backyard parties, for friends in 12 Step groups in CT: especially grateful to show the children fun, without drinking or drugging. Boating on Highland lake with Lisa and our dogs, in CT. Going to the Gilson dinner cinema in Winsted for just released movies. Listening to music, attending many rock and roll concerts for 50 years. He especially revered Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, and Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. He loved excitement like parachuting out of airplanes and standing up (against the rules )in a boat going down level 5 rapids in Maine.
His sense of humor and adventure brought us all laughter and joy and at times worry.
