Ralph Ainsworth Mertens, Jr. 69, of Tucson , AZ , passed away unexpectedly on his 69th birthday, June 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Marjorie Mertens. He lived in Arizona most of his life and loved his home and family. He is survived by his brother, Gary Mertens of Oro Valley, AZ and his sister, Marsha Mertens Sterner of Doylestown, PA and their families. Everyone that knew him fell in love with his smile and infectious personality, he will be missed.
