On behalf of my family, I would like to begin by thanking everyone that is here today and for those of you who have sent their condolences. They have been comforting during this difficult time and a reminder of the impact that Reggie had on so many others. I will never forget his contagious laugh and lighthearted spirit.
Reggie always believed in the heavenly powers of angels, prayer and the afterlife.
Reggie was a force to be reckoned with, but touched the lives of so many people along the way. Reggie was very active in his children’s life and interests, up until some bad decisions were made and he spent a great deal of his time in prison. He would always inquire about his children, to ensure they were being successful and not making the same mistakes he did, he knew prison was no life he ever wanted for his kids. Before his lock up, he attended every birthday and holiday gathering. Taught his children how to work on vehicles and ride motorbikes. He was the patriarch of the family.
Reggie always taught, helped, inspired and encouraged people. He had a very joyful personality, a huge generous heart, and made everyone laugh. He was really good at making non-family members feel like they were and have always been a member of the family, thereby making his family bigger. His greatest achievement in life was his children and family, whom he loved dearly.
All of us knew him in a variety of roles; Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandpa, Cousin, Mentor, Teacher, Leader, Entrepreneur and most of all a great Friend.
Until we meet again
We have all loved you as we shared our lives together and we will forever love and miss you for the rest of our lives. One day we’ll meet again. Until then you will be sorely missed, forever in our hearts and thoughts.
Love always,
Your family
