Richard Gill

Richard V Gill went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2023. Richard was born on January 11, 1954 in Tucson, AZ. Born of Armando Garcia Gill and Ana Luisa Velez Gill. He attended Saint Johns Catholic school and was a proud Lancer at Salpointe Catholic High School. He then continued his education at the University of Arizona.

Richard was a ray of sunshine bringing laughter and joy everywhere he went, touching many lives leaving his imprint in their hearts. He was always seen with a smile on his face and enjoying life. He will be remembered for his jokes, magic tricks and pranks. He was always a hard worker and business entrepreneur never short of a new business plan. He dedicated most of his career to the mortgage industry and his final years specializing in Reverse Mortgages.

Richard spent his last waking hours doing what he loved the most, Golfing. Everyone knew that Friday mornings he was unavailable to the word so that he can enjoy his time at the golf course. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren teaching them about life.

Richard left this world demonstrating what it means to be a great man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Maricela Gill, daughters Jeanette Gill Espinoza and Yvette Gill, six grandchildren: Ricardo Samuel Larrañaga, Sabrina Victoria Gill Moreno, Liana Cassandra Espinoza, Sebastian Xavier Gill Moreno, Zayden Danny Gill Davis and Hector Alonso Espinoza III. Sister Gilda Vasquez, brothers Armando Gill (Terry Gill) and Art Gill and his furry friend Jeter Gill.

Richard will be truly missed by many but his legacy, love and memories will be forever in our hearts.

Services will be held on Saturday July 29, 2023 at 10:00 am at Saint Augustine Cathedral.
