Ronald David Haaksma, age 81, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Ronald and his wife Diane Haaksma (LeFager) were married for 59 years and they raised three children Laura, Michael, and Jeff. Ron was born in Chicago, attended DeVry University and worked for the telephone company until his retirement in 2001 after 37 years. Ron’s biological father was Henry Majkowski but was later adopted by Wallace Haaksma, his mom’s second husband. Ron and his family moved to Tucson, AZ in 1981 by transferring within the Bell System. Ron was an amazing husband and best friend to Diane. He was a wonderful dad and grandpa and loved by all who came in contact with him. Ron made so many special friends over the years and will be dearly missed.
