Rosa Elva Ramirez

Rosie was born on June 17, 1965, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She made Arizona her home and had 6 children and 13 beautiful grandchildren. She passed away peacefully in Tucson, AZ, on August 10, 2024. Diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2023, she underwent numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy, fighting bravely through it all. Despite her illness, she displayed immense compassion and love for everyone around her. God allowed for her family to spend quality time with her and create cherished memories with recent trips to Disneyland, Mexico and Pinetop.

On July 4, 2024, Rosie was diagnosed with lung cancer as the original cancer metastasized. She underwent two chemotherapy treatments before being admitted to the hospital. Her family remained by her side day and night, offering unwavering support. Rosie passed away surrounded by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and husband.

Rosie loved her plants and spending time with her family. She was always so positive and made the best out of every situation. She lived for her family. Rosie was an extraordinary person, loved by all who knew her. Her resilience and love have left a lasting impact on her family, who cherished every moment with her. Her memory will be honored with a service, after which she will be brought home to rest. We love you, mom, and you will be deeply missed.
