Ruth L. Walkup 12/17/1920 - 8/17/2010 Age 89, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010. She is now at rest with her beloved husband, Frank who she was married to for 52 years. Ruth was a Tucson resident since moving here in 1959 from Kansas City, MO. She was an Eastern Star, Member and President of Four Corner Motorhome Club, member of Christ Presbyterian Church. Ruth loved cards and slot machines. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Nancy Barnwell Wate of Tucson; two sons, Frank B. Walkup of Manchester, TN; Kin Walkup of Windsor, CA; sister, Lowell Bruty of Citrus Springs, FL; 14 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren. Ruth's family will miss her dearly. Rest in peace and God be with her always. A Viewing will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Christ Presbyterian Church at 6565 E. Broadway at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Christ Presbyterian Church in Ruth's name.
