

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 18th 2019.
She was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 16, 1949 to Herbert Frank (deceased) and Marie Frank (deceased). Her oldest brother David is also deceased. She is survived by her brother Randy, wife Trudi and daughter Christy and a wide circle of friends. Her family moved to Tucson when she was 10 years old. She graduated from Catalina High School and was an All State medalist (5 medals) in gymnastics.
Sandi worked in the insurance industry for quite a few years and decided to go back to school and get her degree as a registered nurse. After graduation she worked for the American Red Cross in Donor Services and retired after 19 years of service. Her donors and co-workers all loved her. When Sandi walked into the room her smile lit up the room and everyone said "Oh, good Sandi is here".
One of her passions was traveling with her friend Kathy of 47 years. They went to Panama, Puerto Rico, Mexico. Barbados, Glacier National Park. Banff, Victoria Island, Minnesota and many other places. She also spent time in the Gila Wilderness camping with friends and family.
Sandi was also a very talented pastel artist. Many of her subjects were of her dogs and other friends pets. Any injured or lost animal or bird that was injured survived with Sandi's care. She loved every dog or cat in the neighborhood and they loved her along with their owners.
She also lovingly cared for her aging parents when they moved back to Tucson.
Her Memorial Service will be at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Funeral Home at a later date where her ashes will be interred with her Dad, Mom and brother.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances’ can be made to Wild Animal Rescue on East Speedway or Gospel Rescue Mission. Two of her favorite charities or a charity of your choice.
