Steven Eugene Case

Steven Eugene Case, age 72, resident of Tucson, AZ. Passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, in his home. Steven was born in Elmira, New York, April 13, 1950, to late parents; Byron Eugene Jr. and Amy Marie (Earl) Case. He held several positions but spent most of his life as a Landscaper and the last 13 years of his life working security. He would say that he is a jack of all trades but a master of none. Steven served his Country in the United States Navy, during Vietnam. He was preceded in death, by his 2 sons, Steven Eugene Case II and Christopher Corey Case, as well as his 3 brothers, Ronald Case, John Case, and Jeffrey Case. He was survived by his 2 daughters, Michelle Case of Fremont, NE and Sarah (Johnathan) Rothpletz of Tucson, AZ. His grandchildren, Summer Gage, Destiny Glaser and Nekolas Case of Las Vegas, NV and Nathaniel Rothpletz of Tucson, AZ, as well as great grandchildren, Arthur Gage and Aurora Kieser of Las Vegas, NV. His siblings and in-laws: Larry (Patty) Case of Freeport, PA; Carol (Russell) Bunnin of Staunton, VA; Roxann (Kyle) Hicks of Portsmouth, VA; Pamela (Willie) Ramsey of Elmira, NY; Jacquelyn (Fredrick) Butler of Erin, NY; Byron E Case III (Lorrie) of Campbell, NY; Debra (Ronald) Case of Elmira, NY; Mary (Jeffrey) Case of Elmira, NY; and Vickie (John) Case of Oswego, NY. As well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and many cousins. Steven loved seeing the family grow. Steven was a caring man; he would give to his fullest and always find ways to help others. He never met a stranger and loved to talk and learn. He loved watching the University or Arizona Wildcats, the Buffalo Bills and the NY Giants and did not like to be interrupted when PBS News or The View was on. Steven’s last wishes were to be taken to NY and placed with his parents. A Celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.
