Steven (also known as Happy and Sneaky Pete) was born to Judge and Mary L. Gardfrey on November 08, 1950, in Gary, Indiana. Steven was a devoted husband, a one-of-a-kind father, proud grandfather & great-grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, army veteran, and a mentor. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears and had no problem engaging in a debate about how great his team was.
Steven had this pimp walk you can spot a block away. He never left the house without his cane and a kangol hat tilted to the right. “Smooth and cool” You can try him if you want to!
According to his grandchildren he was a funny guy. “Grandpa got jokes.” Some of you had a special name he used to crack jokes and clown on (all in love of course). “You were the best grandpa a girl could ask for. All the laughs, competition, smack talk, and special moments. Rest easy, Love you always!”
