Stuart graduated from Sahuaro High School in 1981 and went on to attend Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona. After college, he moved to Phoenix, where he built a long career in sales in the building supply industry.
He was an avid fan of the Arizona Wildcats and the Raiders, and he enjoyed sharing that passion with those around him. Stuart also loved playing his guitar, inspired by his love of classic rock. He spent many hours in the kitchen trying out new recipes—he was quite a cook—and he took great pride in gardening, as he had an amazing green thumb.
Stuart will be remembered for his warm spirit, kind heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. He was thoughtful and generous, and he never let an important date pass without calling or sending a text message of birthday wishes, congratulations, or words of comfort. He lived a life full of love and friendship, leaving behind countless memories that will be cherished by family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Addison and Eleanor Smith; his brothers, Craig and Kevin Smith; and his sister, Stephanie Wilkins.
Stuart will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
