

84, departed this life on July 12, 2015. Born in New London, CT. he proudly served his country in the US Army as an Infantry Officer, serving in Korea, Vietnam and Panama before retiring in Tucson. He then formed his own career coaching/consulting business, helping others with their career changes and transitions. Ted was an active member of the American Society of Training and Development and was several times the “Chapter Member of the Year” for the Tucson Chapter of the National Speakers Association. He was a published, accomplished writer with many articles appearing in local and state journals. He also was an avid bowler, rolling down the lanes many years with the Saturday Nite Las Vegas League.
Ted is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara, three children, Catherin Risch Peterkin (Andrew), Theodore Risch (Jami) and Timothy Risch (Belle Avery) and one granddaughter, Rachel Peterkin. He is also survived by his brother, Alan Risch (Betsy).
Services will be held on Friday, July 17. Visitation at 11:30 AM, Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary. Committal will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery, 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes at 1:00 PM. Arrangements by East Lawn Palms Mortuary.
