Virginia O'Bryan

VIRGINIA O’BRYAN (Naderhoff), age 96, passed peacefully at her home in Curlew, Washington on November 4, 2015 . She was born as Lillian Virginia in Rockford, Illinois, on February 15, 1919 and was the third of seven children born to John and Elsa [Nelson] Nelson. In 1940, she wed Francis Peterson and had two sons. In 1944, they moved to Detroit, MI and divorced there. In 1948, she wed Leslie Naderhoff and had two sons and a daughter. In 1961 they moved to Tucson, AZ, and Leslie passed in 1970. In 1987 Virginia wed David O’Bryan in Tucson, AZ and he passed in 1994.

Virginia was a member of the Tucson Baptist Temple and Old Pueblo Lapadary Club. Among her many talents she was an accomplished Silversmith.

Virginia is mourned by her family and many friends. Surviving her are sons Dennis Peterson, Boca Raton, FL, Raymond(Dee) Peterson, Palm Bay, FL, Leslie(Pam) Naderhoff, Curlew, WA, Clifton Naderhoff Sahuarita, AZ and daughter Sheila Naderhoff, Tucson, AZ, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild. Also surviving her, are sister’s Genevieve Smolinski, Rockford, IL. and Mary Louise High, Culver, MN.

Visitation will be at East Lawn Palms Mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday 11/11/2015. Grave side service will be at 1:00pm on Thursday 11/12/2015.
