

Born 7-31-21 in Joliet, Il; Died peacefully 7-30-13. She celebrated her 92nd birthday with her Father and Mother, her husband Gordon and daughter Patti Jean, who died at birth.
She married Gordon 4-3-43 and they operated a business in Manhattan, IL until 1952 when they moved to Tucson. Jean worked for Valley Bank and joined Dick Halvorson in his music studio. Jean helped Gordon with his businesses until he retired. She belonged to Jaycettes, Lioness, Embroiders of Tucson, Porcelain Painters and worked at Little Shoppe at St. Phillips. She also belonged to the grievance support group at St. Phillips.
She is survived by cousins Kay Kopecky & Leonard Seltzer. Also dear blessings Judy Barber and family, Judy Hayes, Wayne & Doris Lequieu, Ray & Carole Rogers and Bruce & Cheyanne Franke. Her sense of humor and many friends were a constant in her life. Her friends wish to thank the staff at San Nicolas adult care home, and Casa de la Luz Hospice, for the loving care and compassion during Jean’s final months.

Graveside services will be Friday August 9th at 11AM at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
