William "Bill" Gordon Grimes, born January 10, 1929 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania died at home in Tucson, Arizona on December 25, 2020. He was a WWII and Korea U.S. Navy veteran. William is predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Emma Lou, and daughter Lois Alison McCrea as well as his parents George Arthur and Jessie Leona Shugart Grimes, four brothers and two sisters. He retired from Hughes Aircraft Company after 29 years, enjoyed woodworking, painting, coaching soccer, and being with family. He was a long time member of the Free Masons, including being Past Master and Mason of the Year. Bill is survived by daughters Susan (Jeff) Inks, Lou Ann (Tom) Bourm, Jennie Grimes Silverthorn, Amy Grimes, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
