Survived by sons and daughters-in-law Lynne Stott of Tucson, Kay Stott of Tucson, Louis Richard “ Rich” Stott and wife Elizabeth “Betty “of Austin, TX, and Philip Henry Stott and wife Sherri of Seattle, WA. Proud grandfather of eight and great grandfather of six. Pre-deceased by his parents, his three brothers, his wife Ina Jo Wallis Stott and sons William Eldridge Stott, Jr. and Jack Wallis Stott.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. Served in the Navy from 1943 through 1946 as a Fire Control Officer. Sang in the Navy choir at Damn Neck, VA. Moved to Tucson in 1947. Met his wife of 59 years in 1948. Worked for Howard and Stofft as a business machine repairman. Lived 21 years in Marana operating the family owned Wallis Farms. Retired to Tucson in 1977.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013, 1 pm at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson, AZ., 85713 with burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
