Our beloved 88 year old father, Albert Lindemann, passed away New Year’s Eve, at his Olympia, WA home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, who passed away Aug 3, 2022. The two were married just short of 69 years.
Originally from Texas, Barbara and Albert, headed to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1967 looking for better economic times and ready for a great adventure. While they spent their later years rotating between Alaska and Washington state, “A.C.” considered Alaska his home and continued to travel there until a few years ago.
When you remember Albert, think of his resourcefulness, his sense of adventure and willingness to try new things. He loved life, appreciated a big carnivorous meal, and cherished the Dallas cowboys. As a long time Operating Engineer, we imagine him driving equipment in the afterlife with a big grin on his face.
Albert is survived by his children Deborah, David, Rachel and Esther along with their spouses, his brother Eugene Lindemann and wife, Judy of Temple, TX, his sister in law Jennifer Fumagalli and husband, Dan, of Post, TX, and numerous nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Albert and Barbara plan to have their ashes interred together at Cedar Pointe Cemetery near their birthplace, Brownwood, Texas, at a date to be determined.
