

Daniel Victor Zimmerman passed away December 30th, 2016 at his residence in Olympia. He was born May 24th, 1952, to Richard “Dick” and LaVelle Zimmerman. Daniel was raised in Longview, Kelso, Spokane, and Olympia Washington.
He is survived by his Son, Nathan Zimmerman and brother, Jerry Zimmerman. He enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren, Gianna Holley Zimmerman and Gauge Danger Zimmerman.
Daniel brought joy to all of those around him. He will forever be remembered for his selflessness. He had a big heart and never hesitated to give someone the shirt off his back or help someone in need no matter what he had going on. Daniel was a dedicated, hard worker, and devoted 35 years to Pipe Fitting with his union.
Daniel loved having a good time, he was an eternal optimist and always looked at the bright side of things. In his spare time Daniel enjoyed various outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, shooting, snow and water skiing, and being on his boat. He loved to share his energy, wit, and zest for all of his activities with his friends and family. Daniel Victor Zimmerman was loved by all who knew him, beloved son, father, and grandfather.
A Graveside service will be held at Mills & Mills Memorial Park Friday, January 20th, 2017 at 2:00 PM with a Reception to follow service at Mills & Mills Funeral Home.
