Deborah Deby Lynne Kroger Bac

Deborah Lynne Bac, Deby, a beloved wife, mother, friend, and confidant passed away on June 20th, 2012. She was born in Longview, WA on October 16, 1953 to her parents Warren and Joan Kroger of Lacey, Washington. She attended North Thurston High School here in Washington State where she met the love of her life, Michael E. Bac. Shortly after graduation, she married Mike and started a wonderful family that would ultimately benefit from her vibrant character and unparalleled energy for life. Deby "Dottie" Bac loved spending time growing and grooming roses in her backyard garden which she enjoyed far more than diamonds or jewelry. Like her roses, she took great pleasure in nurturing and caring for all. Children were her joy -- she always found a way to resonate with little ones, a connection invariably ending with a smile from a babe, toddler, or grade schooler. She epitomized selflessness and community service, always ready to give herself to local fundraisers and PTA events with schools in Lacey. Her disarming charm, humor, and graceful nature brought comfort and ease to any conversation and every social encounter. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who were blessed to know her. Deby is survived by her amazing husband, Michael Bac, her sons Jason and Jon, daughter Tiffany, her brothers Frank and Brian, and by her three grandchildren, Micah, Sydney, and Fallon.
