Don was born on December 17, 1937 to Hazel and Rexford Myer in Bremerton, Washington. He graduated from Central Kitsap High School. He served in the Marine Reserves.
Don was the owner and operator of Don Myer Masonry until his retirement in 2008. He loved cars, especially classic cars. He also enjoyed farming, especially growing organic raspberries and corn, which he shared with family and friends.
Don is survived by his wife, Valerie, his children Julie Myer (Kevin), Deanna Brewer, Steve Myer (Jessica) and Denelle Baker; grandchildren Cody Huff (Shayla), Kayla Pearsall (Chad), Ashlyn Brewer, and Braden Baker; and great-grandchildren Corbin Pearsall and Brynlee Pearsall.
A service honoring the life of Don Myer will be held on Monday April 8th, at 11 A.M. at Mills and Mills Funeral Home, 7525 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, Washington.
Graveside Service will follow at Mills and Mills Memorial Park.
