Edward N. Madden, 89, died February 5, 2012 in Olympia, WA. He was born March 26, 1922 in Denver Colorado to John and Helen (Shannon) Madden. Eddie served proudly in the Marines in World War II, went to college and then married the love of his life, Maxine (Odette) on February 17, 1950. He lived his adult life in Denver, Colorado. Eddie worked in sales most of his life, selling Pella windows, representing Sinclair Oil and as a realtor in his later years.
Eddie had a great passion for living life to the fullest. He and his wife traveled the world, especially enjoying Madrid, Spain and Australia. They danced at Aviation Country Club, played cards and had a lot of fun. They were members of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Westminster, CO. He was a season-ticket holder and avid Bronco fan since 1960. Unconditional love was the hallmark of his life; he was unwavering in support for each member of his family.
Eddie is survived by his son Greg Madden (Kae); four granddaughters Sandi Veliz (Cesar), Mariah Hutto (Billy), Carla Pike (Brian) and Melesa Madden; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, his daughter Deborah Pike and three sisters.
