

He was proceeded in death by his wife of 52 years Anna Lou (Cockman) Bell; his parents, a sister Lorraine Bell of Mobridge, SD; and, a brother Keith Willis Bell of Rainier, WA. Surviving him are: a sister, Lorretta Harris of Ferris, TX; a brother Raymond L Bell, Jr. of Federal Way, WA; children: E. Randy (Linda) Bell of San Angelo, TX; Beverly (Peter) York of Tenino, WA; Wendell Bell of Littlerock, WA; and, Nancy (David) Morris of Tenino, WA. 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous neices, nephews and cousins.
Eldon was raised on a farm & learned much which would take him far in this world. He & his siblings worked & paid their way through Mobridge High School, SD. He joined the United States Air Force in January 1951 and after basic & AIT arrived in South Korea on New Years Eve of 1951. He returned to Castle Air Force Base in Merced, CA, where he met & married his wife Ann. He was honorably discharged in August 1953 & went on to work at the Belridge Oil Lease in Kern Co, CA. Five years and four childen later, they moved to Olympia, WA; where he began his career as a carpenter, builder, contractor, master electrician, construction & land developer.
He was a serious entreprenuer with a variety of ventures, to include: U-Fish Trout Farm, Christmas Tree Farm, Dump Trucks, underground utilities and more. He was a member of the Master Builders in Olympia, Dump Truck Assn, American Legion & NRA, in the course of his life. He enjoyed many hobbies. Most of all, he loved his family & friends.
There will be a funeral @ Mills & Mills, 5725 Littlerock Rd SW, Tumwater, WA 98512 on Tues, November 22, 2016 at 11 AM. Viewing from 9 to 11 AM & Graveside following funeral.
