Our beloved father, Elmer Nordstrom, age 96, died Sunday, August 14, 2011. Born in Walkerville, MT, he enjoyed many life-long friendships with his mischievous boyhood pals, and often entertained us with stories of adventure and opportunities. He moved to Washington in 1936 where he worked and raised his family. He was uncommonly kind and tenderhearted, and his generosity knew no bounds. His beloved wife of 56 years, Frances, preceded him in death in 1996. He had 6 children, Sharon, Elaine, Chris, Ken, Cathy and Richard, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
