JoAnn Baker

JoAnn was born in Yelm, WA to Carl and Florence Cullens. She was the youngest of their 3 children, brother George and sister Betty Martin. She was married to Richard Lee Baker for 55 years. Together they had 5 children, Randy, Barbara (Ted Edwards), Belinda (Kathy Miller), Becky (Brett Jackson) and Terry. She had 4 grandchildren, Brandy (Alex Kazakova), Allise, Kendra, and Desiree (Kasey McConnell,) and 2 great-grandchildren, Kayden and Kirill.

JoAnn enjoyed life to the fullest with family and friends by her side. She loved family dinners on Sundays, watching her grandchildren play sports, and family trips to the ocean. In addition to spending time with her family, she found time for gardening, golfing, volunteering in the Yelm community, bunco, and birthday club. She was proud of her family ties to the Yelm area, especially Cullens Road where her great-grandparents lived for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother George, and sons Randy and Terry.

Her kindness, energy, love, and friendship will be missed by all who knew her.
