Kay was born on March 23rd, 1938 in Spokane to parents Arthur Frederick Wellington and Vivian Helen (Nelson) Wellington. She married her high school sweetheart Dale Hadley on September 12th, 1959 in Millwood, Washington and they have been married for 58 years.
Her family moved to Olympia, Washington in 1968 and remained there until her husband retired in 1995. They moved to Port Angeles, built a home and spent many years traveling in their motor home. She was a loving wife, mother and best friend. She loved to travel and one of her favorite trips was to visit Yellowstone in the spring.
Kay is survived by her loving husband, Dale Hadley, daughter, Karren Hadley, and brother, Gerald Wellington. Following a graveside service, she will be interred at Mills & Mills Memorial Garden in Tumwater, Washington.
