Kristi Anne Tiffany was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 8, 1935, the daughter of Edward and Virginia Tiffany. She went to the Heaven she so often spoke about on March 16, 2020, leaving behind her loving husband of 49 years, Raymond, and Samantha, her attentive bearded collie, as well as two sisters-in-law, Connie and Annette, and two brothers-in-law, Bill and Francois and many nephews and nieces.
Her life's goal was to be a teacher, one which she accomplished diligently, attaining a master's degree and teaching in numerous grades and schools in the United States, Japan, and Germany, and traveling extensively while a teacher for the Department of Defense. Her students, no matter where she taught, enjoyed her quick wit and motivational skills. She was truly a remarkable teacher as evidenced by the many accolades she received from her students.
Kristi had many interests. She was a voracious reader and loved the bearded collie dog breed, having expressed that fondness by owning and fostering a number of them. Kristi was also known to shop for clothing bargains, often having to alter her treasures while adding to her collection.
She enjoyed gardening, roses being her passion. She insisted that any visitors share her love of roses by touring her garden and eagerly shared her roses and other flowers with friends and neighbors. As proof of her devotion to roses, she insisted on transporting twenty four of them from Texas to her new home in Washington. They are a tribute to a true rose aficionado.
Her passion for chocolate was well-known by anyone who ever met her. See's, Hershey's, and chocolate ice cream were frequently necessary treats.
Kristi will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. We regret the cancelling of Kristi's graveside service due to a Governor decree prohibiting gatherings and funerals at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
