

She was born September 8,1947 in Olympia, Washington to Robert Earl and Doris Pearl Funkhouser. She graduated from Olympia High School in 1965.
She married Michael O'Sullivan in 1968, and divorced in 1977, but remained friends for life; oftentimes spending holidays together with their children.
Linda loved all sports. She played a lot of coed softball and was the most amazing pitcher. She coached her two oldest daughters' soccer team for years, and earned many first-place awards. She loved gardening and enjoyed to crochet blankets for everyone in the family. She really enjoyed to travel and took her children and grandchildren on many amazing vacations.
Linda worked for the State of Washington; it suited her servant heart. She retired in 2009 after 34 years of faithful service from Department of Social Health Services.
Linda is survived by her four children; Michael O'Sullivan, his wife Sheri, Shannon Smiley, her husband Jerry, Theresa O'Sullivan and Dorinda West-O'Sullivan; nine grandchildren, Ashley Smiley (Cruz Gonsalves), Shea Smiley, Alanna Smiley, Keegan O'Sullivan, Mackenzie Graham, Layla Walwark, Kodie Walwark, Jaxson Walwark, and Greyson Wickeremasuriya; plus, two great-grandchildren, Taelynn and Cason Gonsalves. She loved and touched all her family deeply!
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, William Mattson.
