

Lulumay Jenson, 86, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on July 28, 2018.
Lulumay was born to Elmer and Pauline (Mosher) Gibson in Olympia, Wash. on April 11, 1932. She was raised by her mom and her stepfather Orville Kinney. After Orville passing, Paulie married Mario Paoli. Mario was her stepfather until his passing in 1990's. Lulumay was 1 of 4 children. Larkin (Gladys) Gibson, Fred (Marilyn) Gibson and Joe (Ethyl) Kinney.
She married Gale Jenson on May 4, 1950, they had 5 children: Rick, Peter, Jenny, Tracy and Penny Jenson during their 25-year marriage.
She was a mother and a housewife and would occasionally work at Hanks Corner grocery. She enjoyed bowling, family parties, picnics, dancing and social activities of any kind.
She met James Beaver, who was her partner for 45 years until his death parted them. Her and Jim liked the outdoors, planting flowers,
BBQ's, road trips, camping and fishing. They liked to spend time with family. They always lived in the country where they enjoyed the farm life and especially all the animals they would "adopt".
Lulumay worked as a maid at the Tyee Hotel for 20 years before retiring. She lived in Littlerock for many years, she was well known in the Littlerock community. She loved to go to Littlerock tavern everyday at 11am to visit with friends, play punch boards, pool and listen to music. She loved music and dancing and an occasional trip to the casino.
Lulumay developed Alzheimer's at 79 years old. She suffered from this disease for the last 7 years but always stayed very sweet and kind to those that she was around. Her smile would brighten up any room.
Lulumay was preceded in death by her mom (Pauline), dad (Elmer), stepdads Orville and Mario, brothers (Larkin and Fred (Marilyn)), hers sons, Peter and Tracy Jenson, and her long time partner James Beaver (who passed on June 28, 2018) and of course her little dog Shorty.
Lulumay is survived by her brother, Joe Kinney, her son Rick Jenson, her daughters Jenny Erlanger and Penny Jenson, her 2 granddaughters, Apryl Carlington and Alecia Jenson, her stepchildren George (Angel) Beaver, John (Brenda) Beaver, step-grandchildren
Tyler and Travis Beaver, Daryl Collins, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Mills and Mills in Tumwater, Wash. Monday, Aug. 6, 2018 at 2:00pm. A celebration of life will follow immediately at the Kinney Residence, 17130 Dyson Rd SE, Tenino WA, 98589.
