Marie E Danzer

Marie Esther Aarde Danzer (92) passed away November 25. 2012 at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Frank Danzer, and brothers Richard and Donald Aarde. Marie is survived by her sons, Gary and Ed (Kristie) Danzer; her daughters, Irene

(Howard) Bergh and Frances (Mike) Kent; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She was a bookkeeper and partner in the Frank Danzer logging and sawmill business. Throughout her life she loved to entertain family and friends, host grand family dinners and organize family reunions for her extended family and friends. All of her grandchildren loved to spend the night at Grandma's to play, sleep on the floor and be spoiled. Her delicious homemade yeast rolls and donuts are missed by all. Giving of her time, she volunteered at the Tenino Historical Museum, Homemaker's Club, and the Centralia Antique Car Club. Marie lived on McDuff Road (now 143nd) her entire life until moving to Lewis County. A memorial service will be held December 8 at 3 PM at Mills and Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater, WA.
