She was a devoted Wife, loving Mother, beloved Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Born on May 21, 1928 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, her parents were Victor Trujillo and Margarita Montoya. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Griffin J. Sweeney and two sons Rudy and Danny Belarde.
Mary is survived by her daughters Linda, Margie, Phyllis, Gloria and son Michael as well as numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for family, gardening and later in her life realized how she loved to travel.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29th from one to four at the Carlyon Beach Clubhouse, 2719 Island Drive, Olympia, WA 98502.
