Mary F. Wiatrak

Mary Frances Wiatrak passed away peacefully January 6th, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born in Berwyn, Illinois on Novermber 25th, 1941. She attended Sienna High School and then went on to attend St. Annes hospital school of nursing.

She married and moved to Olympia, Washington where she worked for Group Health for over 30 years. Mary was a devout Catholic who enjoyed going to mass almost every Sunday. She is survived by her brother Phil and twin sister Frances as well as her 4 children, Michelle, Deanna, Kimberly and Christopher and 8 grandchildren in addition to 4 great grandchildren.

Mary loved to travel and visited many destinations across the globe. Her love of travel brought her to Poland, Germany, Austria and many other sought after destinations. She loved to learn the history of all the locations she visited and would share all she learned with her family and friends. She also filled her time watching true crime and murder mystery shows.

In addition, she loved filling her home with animals and providing a loving home for her four legged companions. Mary donated to many animal shelters and always had a soft spot for her furry friends.

Mary will have a funeral service at Sacred Heart on Thursday, January 20th at 10:30 AM followed by a 12:00 graveside service at Mills & Mills Funeral Home located at 5725 Littlerock Road in Tumwater.
