Myneta "Neta" Fay Clement was born on Mach 10th, 1931 in Edgar, Nebraska to Edward C. and Helen E. Horky. Neta moved from Nebraska to Lake Chelan in Washington State where she met and married Earl "Dean" Clement on January 15th, 1948 and raised the family in the Olympia area. Neta was an excellent cook and worked at the Trails End Café, and Smitty's Pancake House in Tumwater for many years before it closed down. Neta loved bowling, the Seahawks, Mariners, and the Gonzaga Bulldogs, plus all major sporting events on TV. Neta also loved to read books on her Kindle.
Neta is survived by five sons, Michaal (Kari) Clement, Creed (Sandi) Clement, Steve (Diane) Clement, John (Colleen) Clement, and Randy Clement, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, daughter, Wanda Hardie, and son, Corey.
Neta requested no formal services. A celebration of her life will be held during a family gathering at a future date.
