Myrna Mae Schuman

Myrna was born on her family farm near Stanley/Belden, North Dakota. She attended Diamond country school through 8th grade and Stanley High School where she graduated. She moved to Minot, ND, to work. She met Robert Edward Schuman and they were married in February 1959.

After moving away from North Dakota she and Robert lived briefly in California and Oregon before settling in Olympia, Washington. She had six children with Robert: Vernadine (1959 to 1993); Konrad #1 (1960 to 1961); Konrad #2 (1961); Keith (1963); Kurt (1964); and Karen (1967). She was divorced from Robert in 1967 and from that time committed herself to God and her children, raising them in the Pentecostal faith.

She loved to sing at church. She worked in the field of accounting and retired from (Washington) state government in December 1996.

She was not afraid of dying because she knew her place was waiting in heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother (Dywaine), sister (Lavon), daughter Vernadine, son Konrad #1, son in law George, and ex husband Robert, all of whom she looked forward to seeing again.

She is survived by her brother in Minot, Lavern Paulson (wife AnnaMae); sons: Konrad Schuman (wife Susan) in Spanaway, WA, Keith Schuman, Kurt Schuman (wife Cherie); and daughter Karen Mussman all in Olympia/Lacey WA; as well as nine grandchildren (Christy, Danny, Kelan, Keaton, Arielle, Alex, Kyler, Kamden, and Jocelyn), five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A private gravesite service is planned and a celebration will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at South Union Church of God,10026 Tilley Rd SW Olympia WA 98512.
