Nola Rae Faris

Nola was born on June 8, 1937 to Jess and Eunice Bunnell in Kooskia, ID and was the youngest of 5 children. Nola married her high school sweetheart, David Faris in 1957 and they shared 55 wonderful years together before he passed away in September 2012. Dave and Nola moved to Olympia with their two children, Brian and Danna in 1976. Nola, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver could often be found in the kitchen baking her favorite goodies or making a batch of hummingbird food to keep them fed year around. She took pride in her home and the house on the lake for over 40 years. She accepted the Lord as her savior and spent much of her free time studying the Bible and in prayer and fellowship with her church community.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Lori) Faris and Danna (Brett) Larson and her grandchildren, Jordyn, Nicole, David, Raina, Jessica, Bailey, and Dustin and her great grandchildren, Charley, Baylee, Carter, Jake, Ahri and Logan.

Nola will be loved and missed by all that knew her and we take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited in Heaven with her husband and grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at Harvest Life Christian Center located at 618 Puget St NE, Olympia, WA 98506.
