Peggy married Joseph W. Monti in 1943. Together they raised 7 children on Hicks Lake. He preceded her in death in 1978.
Peggy is survived by her children Jay (Barb) Monti, Tom (Karen) Monti, Dan Monti, Carrie (Kevin) Bishop, Chuck (Mary) Monti, and Jeanette (Les) DeMello. Her son Vance Monti preceded her in death. She has 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Peggy married Richard G. Phillips in 1985. He preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by his four sons Jim, Mick, Dan and David Phillips and two daughters HelenAnn Washburn and Karen Ryan.
Peggy loved to garden, enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family and friends at the lake.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Tumwater, Washington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014. A gathering will be held at South Sound Manor at 455 North Street SE, Tumwater after the service.
