Ruth is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands. She was married the 1st time for 23 years, and the 2nd time for 46 years.
Mama was love. Fair, kind, happy, sassy and funny. She was willing to let you fall but was always there to pick you up and kiss the boo-boo. She gave us a strong work ethic and the confidence to try new things. She was always only a phone call away. She never tried to change who we are but made sure we had morals and manners. The thing I want to remember forever, is the way that dad used to look at her even right up to the end. He loved her so very much.
She was a devoted mother and homemaker. In her spare time she read, and watched crime shows.
There will be no memorial service at this time. At a later date we will mingle Mama’s ashes with Dad’s and scatter them in a spot still to be chosen.
