

He is survived by his wife Mary of 66 years and five children: Marka (John) Polhemus, Tom (Jolyn) Moran, Jody (Chuck) Bailey, Libby (Kurt) Sheafe and Marjorie Moran, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Tom attended Blackburn College, graduated from University of Illinois and following the war, graduated from St. Louis University School of Law. As a captain of a minesweeper in WWII, he swept mines in the Aleutian Islands, Japan and South America. He served in the U.S. Navy's Judge Advocate General Corps, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. In 1963, he made his home in Olympia, WA. He worked for the Employment Security Department retiring as a Review Law Judge.
Tom was known for his great sense of humor and kind nature. He loved music especially jazz and was a prolific reader.
He will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends. The family wishes to thank the attendants at Bonaventure of Lacey for their care and concern.
Services will be held at St Michael's Church on Thursday, February 3, at 12.00. Contributions to St Vincent DePaul are appreciated.
