Mr. Alvaro Inacio Silveira, age 66 was born in Portal, Ribeira Seca, São Jorge, Azores, and a resident of Hilmar for 13 years, “Entered into Rest” on September 12, 2014 in Turlock, CA. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Manuela Silveira of Hilmar; Son – Bruno Silveira and his wife Lyat of Atwater; Daughter – Vania Silveira of Salinas, Grandson- Bronx Silveira of Atwater; Two Brothers – Manuel Silveira and Francisco Silveira both of São Jorge, Azores; Sister – Fatima Silveira of Terceira, Azores; Seven Nephews and Six Nieces – Alvaro Couto, Armando Couto, Fernanda Couto, Maria do Rosario Silveira, Regina Silveira, Natalino Silveira, Paula Gupta, Armanda Gomes, George Silveira, Alvaro Silveira, Linda Vieira, Sergio Silveira and Sario Silveira.

Preceded in death by his Parents – Francisco and Rosa Silveira. Mr Silveira and his Brother Rogerio Silveira.

Services: Visitation – Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock; Combined Rosary and Funeral Mass – Friday, September 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock; Interment – following the Funeral Mass at North Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N. Tegner Ave., Hilmar, CA.
