Amelia Silva Sequeira

Amelia Silva Sequeira, age 58, of Patterson, California passed away at Doctors Medical Center surrounded by her Family on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Amelia was born March 22, 1964 in Norte Grande, Açores, Portugal to Aventina Sequeira da Silva and Joào Matos Pereira.

Amelia is survived by her daughter Andrea Silveira (Edi) of Ceres; her brother Armando Pereira (Rosa) of São Jorge, her brother Armindo Pereira (Dina) of Hilmar, her sister Ema (Frank) of Terceira, her sister Eva Matos of Oakdale, her sister Elvira Bettencourt (Henrique) of Idaho: her sister Arminda Sousa (Chris) of Alaska; her brother Luciano Soares (Vitalina) of Sao Jorge. Amelia also leaves behind her grandsons Caleb and Logan Silveira to honor her memory.

Amelia was preceded in death by her son Sergio Sequeira, her father Joào Matos Pereira, her mother Avetina Sequeira da Silva and her brother in law Eugenio Matos.

A Rosary Service for Amelia will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

Following the rosary service will be a committal service to follow rosary service at N. Hilmar Cemetery, 8744 Tegner Road, Hilmar, CA 95324.

Serving as pallbearers, Alan Pereira, Armindo Pereira, Steve Soares, Nelson Bettencourt, Paul Matos and Humberto Pereira.
