Antonio Borba, age 78, of Hilmar, California passed away at his home surrounded by his Family, on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Antonio was born April 17, 1944 in Faja Grande, Calheta, São Jorge to Palmira São João and Fernando Borba.
Antonio is survived by his spouse of fifty four years, Maria Aurora Borba of Hilmar; his sons Tony Borba Jr. (Justine R.) of Hilmar; Andrew Borba (Bob Korfhage) of Florida and his daughter Susie Borba (David Machado) of Los Banos; his brother Isalino Borba (Fatima) of Massachusetts, his brother Climaco Borba of Gilroy, his sister Maria Adelaide Paiva (José) of Massachusetts, his sister Maria Heduina Cambra (Manuel) of Massachusetts, his sister Maria Fernanda Azevedo of Massachusetts , his brother Orlando Borba (Nelia) of Massachusetts and his brother Fernando Borba (Lucia) also of Massachusetts; his granddaughters Bethany Pointer (Daniel) and Danielle Borba Vieira (Derek), his grandsons Anthony Borba, T.J. Borba and Nicholas Borba. Antonio also leaves behind his great granddaughter Sadie Pointer and his great grandson Daniel Pointer Jr. to honor his memory.
Antonio was preceded in death by his father Fernando Borba and his mother Palmira São João; his brother José Gabriel Borba and his brother Eduino Borba.
Antonio was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock.
A Visitation for Antonio will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Rosary Service followed by a Funeral Mass will take place, Friday, June 10, 2022 starting at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 South Walnut Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
Serving, as pallbearers are Tony Borba Jr., Andrew Borba, Dave Machado, Anthony Borba, T.J. Borba and Nicholas Borba.
