Francisco Mateus Gomes

Mr. Gomes is survived by his wife of 58 years Georgina Gomes of Hilmar, daughter Rosa Odete Quadros of Half Moon Bay, sister Livramento Mateus Gomes of Loural, São Jorge, Azores. Several brothers and sisters-in-Law, nephews and nieces as well.

Francisco M. Gomes was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock, and he is preceded in death by his parents; Jose Mateus Gomes and Maria de Jesus Alves. Brothers; Antonio Mateus Gomes, Manuel Mateus Gomes, Jose Mateus Gomes, João Mateus Gomes. Sisters; Maria Mateus Gomes, Isabel Mateus Gomes, Irmelinda Mateus Gomes, Rosa Mateus Gomes, Madalena Mateus Gomes, Silvina Mateus Gomes and Georgina Mateus Gomes.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday March 30, 2017 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Combined service of rosary & funeral mass- 11:00 AM Friday March 31, 2017 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock, California. Mr. Gomes will be laid to rest at North Hilmar District Cemetery, 8710 N. Tegner Rd., Hilmar.
