Francisco I. Nunes

Mr. Francisco I. Nunes, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence in Turlock, California, surround by his family. He was 72 years old and was born in Cinco Ribeiras, Terceira, Azores. He came to California in 1981, and for 60 years he help run dairy business.

Mr. Nunes is survived by his Wife- Cecilia Nunes of Turlock. (They were married for 46 years). His Son- Vasco Nunes of Hilmar and his Daughters- Teresa Nunes and Grace Nunes , both of Turlock. 3 Grandchildren- Tyler N. Costa, Manuel N. Costa and Isaiah N. Santiago. Brother-in-Law- Salomao Carvalho of Hilmar, Sister-in-Law- Cecilia Carvalho, Nephew- Robert Carvalho & his wife Elizabeth, Niece- Elizabeth Mello and her husband Manuel, all of Merced, California.

Francisco I. Nunes was a parishioner of “Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church” of Turlock. He also is Preceded in Death by his Parents- Francisco Sousa Nunes and Gertrudes Santos Nunes. He loved spending time with family, specially his grandchildren, with a remarkable love for his cows.

Visitation-9:00 to 10:00 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock

Combined Service of Rosary and Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock. Mr. Francisco I. Nunes will be laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California.
