Genoveva Rodriguez Garcia, 80, of Hayward, California passed away on June 8, 2024. Genoveva was born in Las Agujas, Michoacan, Mexico.
Genoveva leaves her husband of sixty-five years, Alfonso Valdez Magdaleno; her children; Alfonso Valdez (Adelaida), Francisco Valdez (Martha), Martin Valdez (Gloria), Leticia Valdez (Jaime), Rosario Valdez (Roberto), Patricia Valdez, Javier Valdez (Alejandra), Genoveva Valdez (Daniel), Juanita Valdez, Lucy Valdez (Alonso), Silvia Valdez and Miguel Valdez (Ariana); her siblings Graciela Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez and Luz Maria Rodriguez. Genoveva also leaves thirty-six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren to honor her memory.
Genoveva was preceded in death by her son Eliseo Valdez; her father Eulalio Rodriguez and her mother Dolores Garcia; her siblings Jose Rodriguez, Teresa Rodriguez, Margarita Rodriguez, Esteban Rodriguez and Isidro Rodriguez.
Visitation for Genoveva will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4:00 p. m. until 9:00 p. m., at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Home Services 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
Rosary recitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St, Patterson, CA 95363.
