João M. Medeiros

João is survived by: son Horacio Medeiros (Tina) of Hanford; son George Medeiros (Janice) of Clovis; daughter Fernanda Medeiros (John) of Atwater; daughter Mary Jones (David) of Atwater; daughter Rosemary Garcia (Luis) of Livingston; and sister Teresa Miranda of Merced. Mr. Medeiros also leaves twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins to honor his memory.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosa P. Medeiros on October 27, 2013, six brothers, four sisters, and his parents Matilda A. Melo and Antonio V. Medeiros.

João was a dedicated parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Atwater, California as well as a member of the Atwater Pentecost Association and the Festa do Santo Cristo in Atwater.

A visitation for Mr. João M. Medeiros will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. A recitation of the rosary followed by a funeral mass will occur at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church: 1799 Winton Way, Atwater, California. He will be laid to rest after the services at Winton Cemetery District: 7651 Almond Avenue, Winton, California.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Medeiros, Tyler Medeiros, Joseph Medeiros, Nelson Medeiros, Anthony Medeiros Garcia, Jason Medeiros Garcia, Justin Pasley, Tim Patterson, David Heredia, and Kevin Medeiros.
