Joaquim Fernando Machado

Mr. Joaquim Fernando Machado followed the eternal light, Sunday, October 18, 2015. He passed away peacefully in his home in Los Banos, surrounded by his family. Joaquim was 66 years of age, and was a native of Fonte do Bastardo, Terceira, Azores, and lived in California for the past 26 years.

Joaquim Machado is survived by his Wife of 43 years- Crisalia Maria Machado of Los Banos, Son- George H. Machado of Los Banos, 2 Daughters-Sandra Cristina Machado of Morgan Hill, CA. Vera Marisa Lima and her husband Phillip Marvin Lima of Chowchilla, CA. Grandson- Jared Phillip Lima of Chowchilla. Sister- Angela Maria Faria of Eureka, CA.

Mr. Machado was a parishioner of San Joseph Catholic Church of Los Banos and he also was a member of P.F.S.A. of Los Banos.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA.

Combined Service of Rosary & Funeral Mass- 11:00 AM, Monday, October 26, 2015 at San Joseph Catholic Church, 1621 Center Ave., Los Banos, CA. Burial will be following the service to Los Banos Cemetery District, 16575 S. Center Ave., Los Banos.
