Mr. Jose "Joe" Alves Santos entered into rest Friday February 12, 2016 surounded by his family at Emanuel Medical Center of Turlock, he was 84 years old and was born in Santa Barbara, Terceira, Azores, had live in Hilmar for the past 44 years. Mr. Santos is survived by his wife Fatima M. Santos of Hilmar, 3 Grandchildren Liana Lindo and husband Paulo Lindo, Roger Santos and wife Stacy Santos, Maggie Machado and husband Johnny Machado. 6 Great Grandchildren- Alexa Lindo, Sarena Lindo, Juello Lindo, Jace Santos, Kenadie Machado, Kaelyn Machado. Daughter-in-Law-Lena Vieira of Hilmar.

Mr. Joe Alves Santos is Preceded in Death by his Son- Joe Santos, February 23, 2005, and his parents Domingos & Alexandrina Mendes. He also was a devoted parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Thursday February 18, 2016, Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Vigil & Rosary- 7:00 PM, Thursday February 18, 2016, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20323 American Ave., Hilmar Mr. Santos will be laid to rest at North Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N. Tegner Ave., Hilmar.
