Jose Silva Borges

Jose is survived by: his spouse, Alice L. Borges; daughter Lucia Chavez (Emeterio) of Turlock; daughter Fernanda Sommerville (Chad) of Hilmar; daughter Odilia Borges of Merced; daughter Cidalia Borba (Alejandro) of Delhi; daughter Maria Reis (Paul) of Hilmar; and daughter Susana Oliveira (Ruben) of Gustine; sister Virginia Bruma of Pico, Açores; and sister Merces Costa of Delhi.

Jose Silva Borges leaves behind twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren to honor his memory.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; Maria Rocha; and Antonio Borges.

A visitation for Jose will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California.

A recitation of the rosary followed by funeral mass will occur at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 10 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. A committal service will follow at Los Banos Cemetery, 16575 Center Avenue, Los Banos, California.

Serving as pallbearers are Jr. Leal, Jordan Leal, Brandon Oliveira, Michael Silveira, Brian Silveira, Stephen Viegas and Joey Viegas.
